DMCS offers a Preschool for 3 to 4 year olds which is licensed by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. The lively, creative preschool environment is known to be one of the best in the district and parents and students alike look forward to the vast array of fun activities which peak the enthusiasm and imaginations of our smallest students.
Our Early Childhood educators offer expertise and experience to the Preschool each day. The children are beautifully prepared for kindergarten through the extensive venues of imagination, fun and learning. The early learning program runs full days all year.
Our preschool incorporates a curriculum that focuses on kindergarten readiness through organized and exploratory activities targeting communication and literacy skills, cognitive development and the total well-being of each child. Our learning centres encourage children to develop a sense of wonder and appreciation for their natural world and includes a catholic component for formation of their mind, body and spirit.
